I can't say for sure, but it looks an awful lot like the Waves installer intentionally deleted the Version 9 WaveShell when I installed the free plug. I open the Components folder and enter Time Machine and start going back day by day to before I installed this Waves freebie, and lo and behold a file called "WaveShell-AU 9.91.component" magically reappears! I restored it to the components folder and relaunch DP, open the project and all my Version 9 Waves plugs are working again. Thank goodness for TimeMachine and the fact that I started using it regularly a week or so ago. I checked the Components folder and I saw different WaveShell components, but NO WaveShell for 9! That's odd. So I recently downloaded and installed the Waves freebie plug for Black Friday a day or two ago, thinking nothing of it! Today I loaded up a project and got an error that a bunch of Waves plugs didn't load. So this is interesting and a bit annoying!! I might not WUP very often if ever, but my Version 9 plugs were still working in DP11 and Mojave.
